About me
Gazan Pino is one of the founders of the Peruvian Cultural Association of Northeast Ohio and serves on our Executive Committee in the area of Community Engagement and Outreach. Gazán was born in Abancay, Apurimac, and raised in Lima, Perú, in the large Pino family where he is the 9th of 12 siblings.
After completing high school in 1968 at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe school, he was accepted into the National Engineering University, UNI, by its initials in Spanish. Gazán emigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1980 and retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of dedicated service. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus organization and Señor de los Milagros Pastoral Ministry of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Cleveland, Ohio.
Gazán lives in Cleveland, Ohio, and has five children and ten grandchildren, all of them born in the USA.
