ORGANIZATION
PERUCAN-OH is a dynamic organization that benefits from the collaborative efforts of our executive committee, board members, and staff – each of whom plays a critical role in the goals, plans, and success of our organization.

Our leadership team consists of dedicated professionals who are passionate about promoting Peruvian culture, fostering a sense of community between us and the communities we serve. Our staff is responsible for organizing a wide range of activities and events, including cultural festivals, national celebrations, fundraising events, and community outreach programs that advocate for new immigrants in our area.
Leaders of the Peruvian community, and founders of the Peruvian Cultural Association of Northeast Ohio, presented their petition for a Cultural Garden for Perú before the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation Board in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 26, 2022.
Executive Committee
The executive committee provides organizational leadership and guidance to our association. They make crucial day-to-day decisions that align the organization towards achieving its mission, vision, goals, and strategic plan. They meet weekly and work closely with the Board and Staff, prioritizing projects, organizing cultural and fundraising events, and community outreach.

Board Members
Our board members provide guidance to PERUCAN-OH by contributing to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability, as well as serving as ambassadors and advocates. They support and work closely with the Executive Committee and are critical advisors in specific areas such as grant applications.

Meet the Staff
Staff members grouped in functional committees are responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of PERUCAN-OH, collaborating closely with the Executive Committee to carry out the organization's programs and initiatives. Staff members may be responsible for areas such as event planning, volunteer coordination, outreach and community engagement.
