About me
Amador Rojas was born in Lima, Perú in 1960 and grew up in a professional music environment. His father was a recognized studio musician in Perú, who traveled and accompanied most of the renowned singers of the 60s and 70s.
Since his early years, Amador was exposed to the Peruvian traditional music genre and learned to play guitar and sing in this Música Criolla style. He performed live on radio and television with his father and sister in a weekly variety musical show.

In 1975, the Rojas family migrated to the United States where Amador completed high school and went on to attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Later, he earned his certification in computer
programming, while performing on weekends with his family.
In 1985, he started his professional career as a Programmer/Analyst in local companies such as Home Life Insurance, LTV Steel, Anderson Consulting, and more recently with Computer Associates, Lesco Inc., and Austin Powder Company, where he currently works as Project Manager, while continuing to pursue his music interests in his free time.
